The Influence of Musicians in the Fashion World

Without a doubt, fashion and music go hand in hand, with that in mind, I have gathered here great names in music that have influenced and continue to be a source of inspiration in the Fashion world.

David Bowie, the rock chameleon who influenced fashion for several decades, broke barriers and showed us that the freedom to dress is not linked to standards but to the state of mind. It was the British singer who adopted androgynous fashion by mixing pieces from the male and female wardrobe. The mix of prints that are so popular these days is also inspired by Bowie, it's no coincidence that every now and then, big brands create their collections inspired by the musician.

Hippie psychedelia gained its greatest representation in the Woodstock movement. In a meteoric career, Jimi Hendrix appeared with his hats, scarves, medals and velvet costumes with lysergic prints. Undoubtedly, Hendrix went far beyond his guitar chords, and his fashion is represented in almost every season of the year.

John Lennon and his troupe launched the fashion for dry suits that became almost uniform among the male class and last until today. Still on the Beatles, what to talk about the overalls and berets that reigned absolute in fashion!

In the 50's, Elvis Presley appeared, bringing rebellion and sexy appeal that would revolutionise the way of dressing of young people at the time, bell-bottomed pants, moccasins and the eternal black leather jackets at the waist.

These are just some of the countless and iconic names that, through their costumes, revolutionised the way of dressing, created styles and immortalised their music and fashion!
