The Excellence of Rolex in the Grand Slam of Show Jumping

The Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping is widely recognised as the greatest challenge in the world of equestrianism. This prestigious competition rewards the rider who consecutively wins the Grand Prix at three of the four major show jumping events: The Dutch Masters in 's-Hertogenbosch, the CSIO Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Tournament in Calgary, the CHIO Aachen, and the CHI Geneva. This series not only celebrates the skill and bravery of the competitors but also highlights Rolex's commitment to excellence in the sport.

Since 1967, The Dutch Masters, held in the medieval city of 's-Hertogenbosch, has attracted the world's leading competitors. This event, which combines magnificent show jumping and elegant dressage, is the Netherlands' premier indoor equestrian competition. Rolex, the Main Sponsor and Title Sponsor of the Grand Prix since 2014, plays a crucial role in elevating the prestige of this event. Daniel Deusser, one of Rolex's Testimonees, has triumphed here twice, in 2015 and 2022.

The CHIO Aachen, in Germany, is another jewel in the equestrian calendar. With more than 20 years of partnership with Rolex, Aachen stands as a beacon of tradition and excellence. Competitors and spectators revel in the electrifying atmosphere of the revered Aachen Soers showgrounds, where the world's equestrian talent gathers at the start of the northern hemisphere summer to provide a unique experience.

In Canada, the CSIO Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Tournament in Calgary offers a spectacular setting and complex challenges for the world's best horses and riders. Rolex is the Official Sponsor of this event, considered by many to be North America's premier equestrian gathering, and the Presenting Sponsor of the CPKC International Grand Prix, which counts towards the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping.

In Geneva, the CHI Geneva stands out as a singular event, with Rolex serving as the Presenting Sponsor for nearly 30 years. This competition brings together an extraordinary line-up of top-level riders in the world's largest indoor equestrian arena. In 2019, it was named the best indoor show jumping event in the world for the tenth time and the best indoor cross event for the first time by the highly respected L'Année Hippique yearbook, based on the votes of riders, journalists, and personalities from the equestrian world.

Geneva, the host city of the CHI Geneva, sees Rolex as more than just a brand; it is a symbol of excellence and tradition. Rolex's presence at such prestigious events not only contributes to the electrifying atmosphere but also raises the standard of competitions. It is in Geneva that the strength of the Rolex brand is most intensely felt, reflecting its profound and lasting impact on the world of equestrianism.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Switzerland, and this experience further deepened my admiration and passion for Rolex. Being in the country where Rolex was founded and has grown highlighted the brand's importance to me, especially in Geneva, where tradition and excellence are palpable.

The bond between Rolex and equestrianism is a celebration of shared values: trust, precision, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. These are the pillars that uphold Rolex's reputation, not just as a maker of high-quality watches, but also as a loyal supporter and partner of one of the most elegant and demanding sporting disciplines in the world.

The heritage and enduring impact of Rolex in Switzerland are evident. The brand continues to set standards in the world of equestrianism, inspiring riders and enthusiasts with its unwavering dedication to quality and excellence. In Geneva and beyond, Rolex remains a beacon of tradition, precision, and passion, solidifying its position not only as a powerhouse in the sport but also as a global icon of prestige.
