Vendula London, a brand launched long before "vegan" became as en vogue as it is today, has made remarkable strides in cruelty-free fashion over the last two decades. With a guiding philosophy to make people stop and ask, "Where did you get that bag?!" Vendula London has become one of the industry's funkiest and most ethical brands.

From the UK to Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America, Vendula's ever-growing list of captivated fans, affectionately known as "Vendulettes," adorns the world with their quirky and animal-inspired designs. One standout collaboration that thrilled fans and celebrities alike was their Queen X Vendula collection, created in partnership with the legendary rock band Queen.

Behind this remarkable brand is CEO Raymond Lam FCCA, a former accountant in the fashion industry. His epiphany came while flipping through fashion magazines, realizing there must be a kinder way to produce handbags without exploiting exotic animal skins. Since that moment, Raymond has been unwavering in his commitment to providing top-quality vegan handbags with incredible attention to detail.

The brand's core values revolve around living life to the fullest, reflecting in its daring and experimental designs. Vendula London loves to stand out from the crowd, unafraid to draw attention with vibrant colours and unique shapes. Their bags are beautiful on the outside and meticulously crafted on the inside, paying attention to even the tiniest details.

With creativity flowing freely from their in-house design team, Vendula London continuously pushes the boundaries of fashion. While some ideas may seem crazy initially, they work diligently to find suitable materials and techniques to turn these imaginative concepts into reality. From a handbag in the shape of a shop to other bold creations, their innovation knows no bounds.

In celebrating its 20th anniversary, Vendula London has planned exciting events, including a photoshoot for two lucky Vendulettes, a vegan party, and the much-anticipated launch of their top-secret 20th-anniversary handbag collection in June.

From its humble beginnings of manufacturing handbags on canvas, the brand has come a long way. Today, their vegan leathers boast increased durability and a luxurious feel, enabling their designs to go from strength to strength. Moreover, Vendula London is now testing plant-based leathers, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.

Over the years, Vendula London has grown from a one-person venture by founder Raymond to a passionate team of 20 staff members, all dedicated to the brand's mission. Since its inception, Vendula London has sold over a million vegan-friendly handbags and expanded its range to include wallets, purses, accessories, and homeware.

The success of Vendula London can also be attributed to its long and fruitful partnership with a factory in China, where its products are exclusively produced. Over the past decade, this close working relationship has given Vendula London full control over the manufacturing process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and a deep commitment to the vegan cause. Notably, even the glue used in their products is vegan-friendly.

Vendula London takes its ethical responsibility seriously and actively ensures fair working conditions for factory workers. Regular unannounced visits to the factory enable them to monitor and advocate for workers' rights, ensuring that everyone is paid a fair wage. Many staff have been with the company for numerous years, raising their families while working with Vendula products.
